The 9 Patch Block
I have made a block so can now, with a clear conscience ask everyone to have a go - yes, that's my single block in the image, below!
I have received several over the last few days and am having great fun playing "Spot the Fabric in my Stash' with each block as it arrives (that's the other photo, below). Terrifyingly, almost every block so far received has at least one or two fabrics that qualify. I definitely need to get out more!
Closing date: end of July.
This challenge is to make a simple 9 patch block, but make yours in the same colour - almost!
Find 9 pieces of differing fabrics/patterns of the same-ish colour and make sure you have enough for a 2½” square
Piece the squares together in any order: It's as simple as that!
Your finished square must measure 6½" x 6½" to make 6" finished block
When you’re ready, pop your block in the post to:
and we’ll do the rest - or at least we’ll find someone who’ll help.
All completed blocks sent by the end of July, please.
The plan is to collect all the blocks together and make a quilt or two, and either raffle or donate them for charity.
Your response to earlier challenges has been brilliant - let's make this one the best!
